Churches To Provide Support After Gang-Related Crime
DENVER (CBS4)- The City of Denver and faith leaders are working together to help create safe havens for those connected to gangs.
The experts say those people suffer from trauma, fear or frustration with gangs.
When there is a gang-related crime, the nearest church is activated for three days to provide emotional and wellness support for those in the community.
More than 20 churches signed up to be safe havens where the community can get support services.
