Fundraiser Held To Raise Award Money For Kenia Monge Information
AURORA, Colo. (CBS4) - Four months ago on Sunday Kenia Monge from Aurora disappeared. She was partying with friends at a LoDo nightclub and hasn't been seen since.
On Sunday her family held a fundraiser. They are trying to raise more award money for information leading to a suspect in the case.
"We are hoping someone can be a citizen; man enough to come forward so we can end this nightmare," Monge's stepfather Tony Lee said.
Right now there is a $2,000 reward for information in the case.
The last person known to have seen Monge was Travis Forbes. Right now he is behind bars in Fort Collins charged with sexual assault, attempted murder and arson after an attack on a woman there.
