Fort Lupton Firefighters Rescue Kittens Trapped In Storm Drain
FORT LUPTON, Colo. (CBS4) - A mother cat found herself and her kittens in quite a predicament last week. They were stuck in a storm drain.
Fortunately for the furry Colorado family, that drain was outside a Weld County Sheriff's Office substation in the town of Fort Lupton.
The fire department swung by to help remove the steel covering the drain and animal control rescued the cat and her litter of kittens.
She had six healthy kittens, who are four weeks old.
