Florida Man Rescued After Getting Lost While Hiking
FORT COLLINS, Colo. (AP) - A 58-year-old Florida man has been rescued after he reported being lost while hiking at Grey Rock west of Fort Collins.
The Larimer County Sheriff's Office says the man called on a cell phone indicating he was lost around 7 p.m. Sheriff's spokesman John Schultz said the man was from the Tallahassee area, but he refused to release the man's name, saying he didn't want to embarrass him.
The man, who was hiking alone, was found near midnight and was returned to the trail head early Monday.
