Firefighters Extinguish Fire At Whittier School
DENVER (CBS4) Firefighters in Denver rushed to put out a fire at the Whittier School early Wednesday.
The fire broke out just after 9 a.m. at 2480 Downing St. The school teaches students in grades K-8.
The small fire was quickly extinguished. Firefighters believe it was sparked by an overheated space heater.
Teachers reported smoke in some of the classrooms. No one was hurt in the fire.
