Driver Seriously Hurt After Beer Truck Crash On I-25
LONGMONT, Colo. (CBS4)- The driver and passenger in a semi truck suffered serious injuries on Saturday after the truck crashed and spilled thousands of cans of beer onto Interstate 25.
The accident happened on Saturday afternoon near the Longmont exit on I-25. All southbound lanes were closed for several hours during the accident cleanup and investigation.
The Colorado State Patrol said both the driver and passenger were seriously injured.
Troopers continue to investigate what caused the accident that left thousands of cans of beer spilled along the road and median.
