Dozens Rally Outside The Denver Post In Stand Against Job Cuts
DENVER (CBS4)- Dozens of people rallied outside The Denver Post building on Friday to take a stand against job cuts at the newspaper.
The protesters say journalism matters and cited recent cuts at both the Post and the now defunct Rocky Mountain News.
The protesters say the investment firm that owns the Post, Alden Global Capital, continues to strip away the journalists abilities to cover the news.
Despite repeated attempts to contact The Denver Post for a comment, they did not return calls to CBS4.
