DENVER (CBS4) -- Officers are investigating a shooting that killed two people near West Alameda and South Federal Boulevard on Thursday. Police said two victims were transported to the hospital, but later said both victims had died.

Federal was closed at Alameda at 4:30 p.m. Authorities encouraged drivers to take alternate routes.

The investigation in ongoing.

There is no information about the search for possible suspect.
