Dillon Dam Road To Remain Closed For 2 Weeks, Maybe Longer
DILLON, Colo. (CBS4)- Dillon Dam Road will be closed for the next two weeks, possibly longer, after rock slides forced its closure on Sunday morning.
Summit County officials are concerned about the possibility of more rocks tumbling down the side of the hill and onto the road.
The road will remain closed while engineers evaluate the netting and stability of the hill where the rocks are coming down.
Road closed signs are in place along with a detour for traffic.
