DIA Tries Out Hybrid Vehicle Parking
DENVER (CBS4)- Denver Mayor Michael Hancock announced a pilot program for hybrid vehicle parking spaces at Denver International Airport during his 100 days in office speech on Tuesday.
A total of 18 spaces in the parking garage and economy lots are designated specifically for hybrid cars and trucks.
The garage spaces are close to the terminal, located near the handicapped parking spaces.
The economy spots are near the shuttle pick up locations.
The mayor said the special hybrid parking promotes an environmentally friendly lifestyle.
