Wolfe Says It Would Be 'Terrible' To Lose Miller For 4 Games
DENVER (CBS4) - Von Miller is one of the most dominant defensive players in football. If the Broncos lose him for a single game, it hurts.
If they lose him for four games, as it's reported the length of his suspension will last, that's really going to leave a mark. Miller allegedly violated the NFL's substance abuse policy, and sources tell CBS4's Vic Lombardi that substance is marijuana.
Fellow defenseman Derek Wolfe said on the CBS4 program Xfinity Monday Live that if Miller misses those games, someone on the defense is going to have to pick up the slack.
"I love Von and he's one of my favorite guys on the team. It would be terrible not to have him just because we work so well together. So I'm pulling for him. But we'll be all right," Wolfe told CBS4's Vic Lombardi.
Wolfe said he thinks the alleged violation doesn't match Miller's reputation.
"I just assume it's going to be fine. He's not the type of guy to be doing stuff like that. I assume it's just some kind of flaw in the system."
