Denver Zoo Visitors Excited To See New Elephant Exhibit
DENVER (CBS4)- Four elephants have a very posh new home at the Denver Zoo. Friday is the grand opening of Toyota Elephant Passage.
Those hoping to be among the first to visit the elephants in their new habitat may be in for a surprise. Timed tickets are being sold to allow visitors and the animals time to take in the new digs and get used to being around large crowds of people.
The elephants have been getting used to their new home for months but visitors have been kept behind a black-papered fence until tomorrow's big unveiling.

"We are doing timed reservations this summer. We're expecting record crowds all summer," said Denver Zoo spokeswoman Amber Christopher.
The best way to guarantee a visit with the elephants is to visit the Denver Zoo's website and make a reservation and print out the ticket. There's no additional cost to get into Toyota Elephant Passage, just the cost of admission to the zoo.
The elephants are enjoying their new home with three hot pools and exotic surroundings.
