Denver Water Employee Injured After Falling Into Empty Water Basin
DENVER (CBS4) - A Denver Water employee has been hospitalized after falling into a water basin Monday afternoon.
According to Denver Water, emergency personnel responded to the accident at the Foothills Treatment Plant in Douglas County at approximately 3 p.m.
"Initial reports indicate an employee was injured in a fall from a platform into an empty water basin," Denver Water said in a statement.
The employee fell approximately 16 feet. The name and condition of the employee haven't been released.
Denver Water is investigating the accident.
