Denver Police Search For Driver Who Fled Crash On Foot
DENVER (CBS4) - Police are searching for a driver who fled the scene after being involved in an accident on Sunday evening.
The incident happened on Interstate 70 near Pecos Street. Police say it was a single-car accident. Three people were in the car and one person suffered serious injuries.
The driver fled on foot.
The accident caused a mess and a major headache for people coming back from the mountains to the metro area. Traffic was backed up on I-70 for nearly an hour.
Police are still trying to figure out how the crash happened. Police do not have a suspect and have not made an arrest yet.
The identities of passengers haven't been released.
