Denver Police Look For Man Who Assaulted Woman Who Was Jogging

DENVER (CBS4) - Denver police would like the public's help locating a sexual assault suspect.

Sonny Jackson with Denver police said on Wednesday at about 8:30 a.m. a woman was running on the Platte River bike path near North Denargo Street and Arkins Court when she was attacked from behind.

"The suspect fondled her over her clothing and fled on foot in a unknown direction," Jackson said in a statement.

The suspect is described as a white man, 22 to 29 years old, approximately 5-foot-10, weighing approximately 140 pounds. He was wearing a gray hooded sweat shirt and black pants with two white stripes. The suspect's clothing was very dirty and that he had a strong body odor.
