Denver Center Theatre Company Announces Ambitious Season

DENVER (CBS4) - The Denver Center Theatre Company on Friday announced its ambitious season for next year.

From a circus-like staging based on "Alice in Wonderland" to Shakespeare to two world premiere plays, the Theatre Company is offering a little something for everyone. They're even teaming up with a popular Denver band.

"We're going to do a DeVotchKa inspired arrangement and re-orchestration of Steven Sondheim's 'Sweeney Todd,' and that will influence everything we do with the show," Kent Thompson with the Denver Center Theatre Company said.

The season also includes "Looking Glass Alice," "As You Like It" and "Tribes."
