Democratic Vice Presidential Candidate Visits Lakewood
LAKEWOOD, Colo. (CBS4)- Democratic Vice Presidential candidate Tim Kaine spent his morning in Lakewood touring Primus Aerospace.
The business makes machine parts for the military, airplanes and windmills.
The tour is part of the Democrats focus on plans to help small businesses, saying they are key to the economy.
"Two-thirds of new jobs in this country are in small businesses so if you want there to be more jobs, if you want there to be higher wages, if you want there to be innovation and entreprenuership, it's the small businesses and start ups that are going to make that happen," said Kaine.
