CU Denver Mascot Roars Into Role

DENVER (CBS4)- The new mascot for the University of Colorado Denver is roaring into his new role.

Milo is a lynx and he was introduced at CU Denver on Thursday afternoon.

Several other mascots from across Colorado were there to welcome him, including Metro State University of Denver's Roadrunner, Miles from the Denver Broncos, Dino from the Colorado Rockies and Edson from the Colorado Rapids.

His name, Milo, is a comgination of Mile High City and Lodo.

CU Denver hopes Milo will bring spirit and community to the school.
