CSU Students Have Mixed Reaction To Attending Class

FORT COLLINS, Colo. (CBS4)- While many classrooms along the Front Range were closed because of the winter storm on Friday, students at Colorado State University in Fort Collins were making their way around campus.

It was business as usual with snow measuring about 4-6 inches deep.

Many students were hopeful classes would be cancelled, but others were happy to trudge their way through the snow to class.

"I have two science exams going on today," said one CSU student. "We were hoping for it. We were checking the website until about 4 a.m. before we finally gave up."

"It's not too bad we got about six inches," said another CSU student. "Roads are fine, sidewalks are good. I'm here. I checked but in the two years I've been here we've never had a snow day."

"They never cancel school at CSU," said another CSU student. "I don't think they should have cancelled school. A lot of people were mad that they didn't but honestly I would have been mad if they did because I pay for my classes here."
