Crews Quickly Contain Wildfire In Douglas County
DOUGLAS COUNTY, Colo. (CBS4) - Crews have a fire contained in the foothills of Douglas County.
The fire was reported Saturday afternoon, southwest of Sedalia. The Forest Service says they got a good jump on it before it could spread.
Eight smoke jumpers and a heavy air tanker helped get the fire under control. It burned about 5 acres of steep rugged terrain.
The cause is under investigation.
