Colorado State Trooper Involved In Crash On I-25 South Of Castle Rock
CASTLE ROCK, Colo. (CBS4) - A major investigation is underway after what appears to be a fatal crash on Interstate 25 south of Castle Rock.
The crash took place at approximately 2 p.m. near Tomah Road north of Larkspur and involves a Colorado State Patrol trooper, according to the Douglas County Sheriff's office.
The highway was closed for the investigation, and some cars were using a frontage road to get around the crash.
Crime tape was strewn across the highway and Copter4 video showed a flag draped over what appeared to be a victim's body.
A semi trailer appeared to be involved in the crash.
