Cosgrove Fire Burning Near Grand Junction Continues To Grow

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (CBS4)- The Cosgrove Fire burning in the LIttle Bookclifs Wilderness Study Area north of Grand Junction has grown to 1,275 acres.

Firefighters are conducting backburns in the area to get the fire under control.

Fire managers said the fire is being allowed to burn, but are trying to steer the fire away from land where wild horses graze and live.
