Colorado Town Tries To Set Pie Fight Record
LONGMONT, Colo. (CBS4) - An attempt to set the record for the world's largest pie fight was staged in Longmont on Saturday.
It happened on Saturday afternoon in downtown Longmont.
Organizers invited more than 1,000 people to throw pies at each other, and the kids who took part had a great time.
"It was amazing," one young participant told CBS4.
The event helped raise money for Rotary Youth Programs in the St. Vrain Valley School District.
So far there's no word on whether a new record was set.
