State Trooper's Cruiser Struck By Semi In Construction Zone
DOUGLAS COUNTY, Colo. (CBS4)- A Colorado State Patrol officer was not seriously injured after a collision with a semi truck Wednesday morning. It happened in a construction zone on the ramp from Highway 85 to westbound C-470.
The state trooper was responding with lights and sirens to a call when the semi sideswiped the cruiser.
The state patrol is investigating the crash to determine who is at fault. The semi driver wasn't hurt.
