Colorado Reports 17 Human West Nile Virus Infections
FORT COLLINS, Colo. (AP) - Colorado health officials are reporting 17 human West Nile virus infections so far this summer.
The total includes five cases that were reported to state officials Friday.
The 17 cases so far this summer were reported in residents of Adams, Boulder, Broomfield, Delta, Larimer and Prowers counties.
Health officials are advising residents to take precautions against the mosquito-borne virus.
