Colorado High Schoolers' Drug Abuse Awareness Video Strikes A Chord
HIGHLANDS RANCH, Colo. (CBS4) - A team of Colorado high school students are among the Top 10 in a national filmmaking contest.
The group from Rock Canyon High School in Highlands Ranch has moved past the first two rounds of competition and are now in the running for the top prize.
Teams were tasked with creating a drug abuse awareness public service announcement for the Colorado Meth Project.
Their video, titled "You're Going To Have A Wonderful Life" has already been viewed more than 10,000 times online.
Voters will choose the best three videos from this final round. Then those will be judged by three Hollywood directors who will pick a single winner to get a $20,000 prize.
