Colorado GOP Files Lawsuit Over Tweet About Donald Trump
DENVER (CBS4) - The Colorado Republican Committee has filed a lawsuit over a tweet.
After Sen. Ted Cruz won all of Colorado's delegates during the state convention, the state party tweeted "We did it. Never Trump." But the Colorado GOP says the tweet was not authorized and still hasn't been able to find out who sent it.
The lawsuit says the "John Doe" violated federal electronic access laws by hacking into the party account.
According to the lawsuit, party chair Steve House received death threats because of the tweet.
