Another Colorado City Adopts 'Indigenous People's Day'
ASPEN, Colo. (CBS4) - Aspen is the latest city in Colorado to declare Columbus Day as Indigenous People's Day.
Boulder and Denver adopted the name change last year and celebrated with traditional Native American music and dance.
Aspen City Council approved the resolution on Monday night with a unanimous vote.
Supporters say the holiday will be a great opportunity to celebrate native cultures.
