Everyone, Meet Omo, Cheyenne Mountain Zoo's Baby Hippo
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (CBS4) - The Cheyenne Mountain Zoo revealed the name of their baby hippo. Zookeepers decided to share the announcement in an unusual way.
They shared video of the baby's mom, Zambezi, eating food in the shape of the baby's name, "Omo."
Zookeepers lined up carrots, oranges and hay and then played the video in reverse.
The name follows tradition as both his mom and aunt are named after a river in Africa.
