Charges Considered After Baby Possibly Ingests Medical Marijuana
LONGMONT, Colo. (CBS4) - Longmont police are considering charges against a mother whose 11-month-old may have ingested medical marijuana.
The child was taken to the hospital because she was lethargic.
Officers say the baby may have ingested it when her 17-year-old mother was visiting a friend earlier this month.
Hospital officials told police the baby's symptoms were consistent with either ingesting cannabis or exposure to large amounts of smoke.
