Cellphone Service For Some Verizon Customers Disrupted In The High Country
DENVER (CBS4) - Verizon on Thursday said they have some customers in the high country experiencing a disruption in service as a result of a problem with a vendor's equipment.
The disruption is impacting service between Dillon and Beaver Creek along the Interstate 70 corridor.
Some customers continue to get service due to some overlapping coverage from different cell sites.
Verizon said they are working with Comcast, the vendor, to get it fixed. There is no time estimate for the repairs to be completed
Verizon found out a little after 2 p.m. about the problem, but does not know when Comcast had their issue.
