Cause Of Fatal Crash On I-25 Ramp Unclear
DENVER (CBS4) - Police in Denver are trying to figure out what caused a multi-car accident during Tuesday morning's commute that left one person dead.
The crash happened on the off-ramp from Interstate 25 to Arapahoe in Greenwood Village.
Police say a black Acura was coming down the off-ramp when it lost control and hit a Honda Accord, sending both into a tailspin. The Accord hit a wall, killing the man who was driving. The victim has been identified as Eugene Joseph Gullo, 51, of Arvada. Police said Gullo was not wearing his seatbelt.
The Acura hit three other cars but no other serious injuries were reported.
Investigators say weather was not a factor but they are looking into a possible health condition of the driver of the Acura.
