Cargo, Arenado Represent During All-Star Game
SAN DIEGO (CBS4)- Colorado Rockies Nolan Arenado and Carlos Gonzalez represented the hometown team at the All-Star Game in San Diego Tuesday night.
Cargo started and hit eighth in the lineup. He singled to center field but then fell victim to a fielder's choice at second base later in the inning.
For Arenado, he grounded into a fielder's choice in his first at bat. His next time up to the plate was in the seventh inning where he struck out swinging.
In the ninth, Arenado hit into the game-ending double play and the American League won the game 4-2.
