Buffalo-Shaped Outdoor Pool Opens At CU
BOULDER, Colo. (CBS4) - A buffalo-shaped outdoor pool opened at the campus recreation center at the University of Colorado in Boulder.
According to the CU Independent, it's part of a $63 million renovation project. The pool actually serves as a key part of the new ice rink.
The heat generated from cooling the nearby rink is then used to heat the pool. Without the pool the rec center would have needed to install a cooling tower.
