Broncos Doctor Exonerated In Lawsuit
DENVER (AP) - A neurosurgeon for the Denver Broncos has been exonerated by a Denver jury after former linebacker Al Wilson claimed the doctor failed to provide good medical advice.
Wilson claimed bad medical advice about a back injury cost him a $25 million NFL contract.
According to the Denver Post, a Denver District Court jury determined Dr. Chad Prusmack was not negligent in the advice he provided Wilson about his injury. Prusmack is still a neurosurgical consultant for the Broncos.
In 2008, Wilson sued Prusmack because the doctor didn't tell him he should get surgery to correct an injury he suffered during a game with the Seattle Seahawks in December 2006.
