Boulder Police Arrest Sexual Assault Suspect

BOULDER, Colo. (CBS4) - Police in Boulder police have arrested a sexual assault suspect less than a week after the alleged attack happened. Davin Burke-Reinhart, 27, turned himself in at the Boulder County Jail on Thursday.

Burke-Reinhart faces two felony counts of sexual assault. His bond is set at $25,000. He remained in custody on Friday evening.

Police were called to an apartment in the 1100 block of Grandview in Boulder at about 2:30 a.m. Aug. 6. The 20-year-old victim told investigators she was sleeping on the coach. She woke up to find the suspect sexually assaulting her. The victim was able to call for help and the man ran away.

Police believe the apartment was unlocked. The investigation continues.
