BLM Worker Gets Citation After Stopping Train
BOND, Colo. (AP) - A federal Bureau of Land Management worker got a citation after he was spotted lying on train tracks, forcing a train to come to an emergency halt.
The man told authorities he was taking pictures of the train approaching in the fog. He said he was surprised to learn that the train stopped because of him. The man was not identified.
According to the Vail Daily, authorities told the man that the railroad did not tolerate anyone on its property and wanted anyone caught trespassing to be cited.
