Bear Returns To Popular Restaurant In Colorado Springs
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (CBS4) - A restaurant owner continues to use spikes to help deter a brazen bruin in Colorado Springs.
The bear returned Friday night to the popular Edelweiss restaurant but didn't stick around.
On Thursday Colorado Parks and Wildlife placed spike strips near the dumpsters at the restaurant. The bear had been dumpster diving and hauling away leftovers. Officers hope the animal gets the message and stays away.
The restaurant owner has ordered bear-proof dumpsters.
