Bear Breaks Into Car In Crested Butte
CRESTED BUTTE, Colo. (CBS4) - A man says his car was destroyed after a bear got into it while it was parked but unlocked.
Lawson Yow says his Honda Element was parked on an incline in Crested Butte this weekend when the bear got in and the door closed on the animal.
"He swiped at it, accidentally locked it and then eventually busted out (through a back door)," Yow said in an Instagram video post.
Before escaping from the car, Yow says the bear ripped apart most of the interior.
