Avs Beat Canucks 4-2 In Vancouver

DENVER (CBS4)- The Colorado Avalanche beat the Vancouver Canucks 4-2 at the Rogers Arena in Vancouver, British Columbia.

It's the first time in four years the Avs beat the Canucks in Vancouver. The win puts them in first place in the division.

The Canucks jumped out first in the game but with less than two minutes to play in the first period Paul Stasny scores unassisted to tie the game at one.

Just over five minutes into the third period Stasny is able to corral the rebound and put it in for the go-ahead goal.

The Canucks would tie it at two and then with under eight minutes to play Tyson Barrie has the goal to put Colorado up 3-2. The Avs go on to win the game.
