Aurora Police, FBI Search For Suspects In Bank Robbery

AURORA, Colo. (CBS4) - Aurora police and the FBI would like the public's help identifying and locating suspects in a bank robbery that happened Wednesday morning.

Det. Robert Friel with Aurora police said shortly before 10 a.m. officers were dispatched to the Wells Fargo Bank located at 999 South Sable Boulevard on a report of an in-progress robbery.

"During the course of investigation, investigators learned that four suspects arrived at the bank in what was described as an older model black Jeep. Three of the four suspects entered the bank wearing masks," Friel said in a statement. "The getaway driver remained with the vehicle while the three remaining suspects carried out the robbery."

The suspects are described as three black men and a black woman.

"No weapon was seen. The suspects left with an undisclosed amount of money," Friel said.

Police found the getaway vehicle abandoned a few blocks away.
