Arvada Holds Meeting On Preservation Of Historic .04 Trolley
ARVADA, Colo. (CBS4) - The City of Arvada wants to hear from residents about the last streetcar in the Denver metro area. Preservation work on the .04 Trolley started well before the pandemic. It ran from north Denver to Arvada and Golden, and the system went out of service in 1950.
On Thursday evening city leaders are holding an open house to make sure the trolley winds up in the right place so it gets historic status. The meeting begins at 5:30 p.m. at this link.
