LARIMER COUNTY, Colo. (CBS4) - Plows are beginning the big job of clearing Rocky Mountain National Park's Trail Ridge Road, according to aerial photos taken Wednesday.
Fritz Prehn, a PhD student at the Colorado School of Mines, sent CBS4 photos of his mountain flight over Rocky Mountain National Park.
Road crews could be seen plowing Trail Ridge Road for what looks like the first time, in preparation for the opening. The road is scheduled to reopen for the season on May 27, weather permitting.
