AEG Live Rocky Mountains To Improve, Expand Fiddler's Green

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. (CBS4) - Starting next year Fiddler's Green will have a new partner in creating a season of music.

The Museum of Outdoor Arts, which runs Fiddler's Green, has announced that it has partnered with AEG Live Rocky Mountains on a 15-year partnership to program the outdoor event center.

Fiddler's Green Amphitheatre is a major concert venue in the city and is scheduled for $5 million in renovations. AEG Live Rocky Mountains, run by concert promoter Chuck Morris, is planning to improve and expand every aspect of the music experience at the green -- from what's on stage -- to concessions -- security and operations.

The move gives AEG pretty much a lock on major venues in the city -- from the 1STBANK Center to the Gothic, Ogden, Fox and Bluebird.

It all begins with next year's concert season.
