About 200 People Miss Obama Speech
GOLDEN, Colo. (AP) — About 200 people are upset after they were told they couldn't listen to President Barack Obama's speech to supporters in Jefferson County.
Some of them had tickets for the event on Thursday, but they were not allowed in. They were also told to leave a park when they tried to listen to Obama's speech from outside the venue.
Republicans say the key to success in Colorado could be winning back Jefferson County, once considered a Republican stronghold.
Republicans Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan have both visited recently. Obama's visit signals Democrats plan to hang on here.
