787 Dreamliner Lands At DIA, Returns To Houston For Test Flight
DENVER (CBS4) - After months of delays because of battery problems, the plane that will bring Denver International Airport's first direct flight to Asia landed in Denver on Tuesday.
United Airlines is testing the Boeing 787 Dreamliner between some of its hub cities this week. The first one landed at DIA Tuesday morning and then made the return flight to Houston a couple hours later.
United will begin using the plane on its new Denver to Tokyo route on June 10. The 787 is designed to be the most advanced and fuel-efficient plane in the skies.
