40-Foot Tree Falls, Lands On Home
DENVER (CBS4)- A tree fell and crashed onto a Denver home on Tuesday and it wasn't caused by severe weather or strong winds.
The 40-foot tree fell on top of a home located near 11th and Oneida.
The ground around the roots was very saturated and the tree may have gotten top heavy and fell over because of the weight.
A man working in the area heard the tree tumble.
"I was on the other side of this house which is quite a ways away, 400 or 500 feet, and it sounded like it was right next to me," said Josh Landcaster.
No one was hurt when the tree fell. The house suffered minor damage.
