2 Formally Charged For Death Of Man Found In Denver Alley
DENVER, Colo. (CBS4) - Two men suspected in connection with a murder of a man whose body was found in an alley have been formally charged.
According to Lynn Kimbrough with the district attorney's office, Zar Yar, 24; and Yer Zit, 27; have been charged with first-degree murder, accessory to first-degree murder, tampering with evidence and abuse of a corpse.
The man's body was found on Dec. 4 in an alley in the 1300 block between Xenia and Xanthia streets.
"They found the victim in the alley and later located a crime scene in an apartment nearby," Kimbrough said in a statement.
Kimbrough said the new murder charges are a result of the autopsy report and additional forensic results from the Denver Crime Lab.
The two men remain in custody. Their next court date has not yet been set.
