17-Year-Old Suspect In Boy's Death Charged As Adult
DENVER (AP) — A 17-year-old suspect in the shooting death of a 13-year-old boy in Denver has been charged as an adult.
Denver District Attorney Mitch Morrissey charged Lonnie White on Friday with first-degree murder in the Aug. 30 death of Reysean Abram.
Authorities say Abram died from a gunshot wound to the chest. He had just left a party where there had been a fight and was a block away when he was shot in the Montbello neighborhood.
Prosecutors also have charged 20-year-old Marquise Lewis and a 15-year-old boy with first-degree murder.
