17 People Rescued On Union Reservoir During High Winds
LONGMONT, Colo. (CBS4) - The gusty winds kept rescuers busy on Union Reservoir near Longmont Sunday afternoon.
Mountain View Fire along with Longmont police and fire rescued 17 people in three separate incidents.
Six people had to be rescued when their boat took on water from the big waves. Another boat sank in the high winds.
Three boys were drenched while fishing and were treated for hypothermia.
Nobody was seriously hurt.
